Your mission
As Chief of Staff, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the leadership team and driving Kaiko Systems’ growth and success. Reporting directly to the founders, you will collaborate closely with executives and cross-functional teams to oversee strategic initiatives, operational priorities, and key projects.

Be part of a small and rapidly growing team (28) across the world (Berlin, London, South America, Philippines and many more cities to come) with big ambitions and backed by global VCs to revolutionize the maritime industry and turn compliance into performance for every shipping company.

Your skillset to navigate success:

  • Strategic Leadership: Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team, helping to shape and drive the company’s strategic agenda. Support the development and execution of business strategies, initiatives, and goals aligned with the company’s vision and growth plans
  • Operational Excellence: Work cross-functionally to streamline business operations, improve processes, and remove roadblocks that may impede company performance. Ensure the organization operates efficiently and effectively, with a focus on scaling operations
  • Project Management: Lead and oversee high-impact projects and initiatives, ensuring they are executed efficiently. Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources, providing regular updates to key stakeholders
  • Communication & Alignment: Act as a bridge between departments, senior executives, and external stakeholders. Ensure alignment across all levels of the organization on key objectives, business priorities, and performance metrics
  • Talent & Culture: Partner with the HR team to help drive talent initiatives, including leadership development, culture-building activities, and team engagement. Promote a high-performance culture focused on results, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Financial & Operational Reporting: Support the development and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics. Work closely with finance and operations teams to ensure accurate reporting and identify opportunities for cost optimization
  • Investor Relations: Work alongside the CEO to ensure proper reporting and alignment with investor expectations. Assist with the preparation of investor updates, board materials, and other presentations as needed
Your profile
  • Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in management consulting, high-growth startups, or strategic roles in B2B SaaS or tech companies. 
  • Strategic & Analytical Mindset: Proven ability to distill complex challenges into actionable strategies, backed by data and a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Growth Orientation: Strong sense of initiative with a focus on driving growth, whether through partnerships or market expansion
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and articulate complex concepts clearly. Fluency in English is required.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial modelling and the ability to support fundraising and investor communications with data-driven insights.
